Vegetarian Festival

Come and be a part of our vegetarian festival this year. This festival is an annual celebration that occurs during the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. One of the eight precepts is avoidance of eating any animal meat of product. They also keep up a high moral standard of good deeds in their action, speaking and thinking - a colorful event held over a nine day period. Wat Chalong

Phukets most popular and famous temple, built in 1837. Located approximately 8 km. from the city, the temple houses the famous Luang Po Cham, a monk who helped the locals fight the rebellion during the reign of King Rama V (in 1876). A recent addition to the temple is a 61 m. high chedi containing a piece of the Lord Buddha's bones brought over from Sri Lanka.

Located approximately 3 kilometers from Phuket City via Yaowarat Road and the Sam Kong intersection, the farm proudly presents a unique collection of tropical creatures such as butterflies and insects. Phuket Thai Hua Museum

The Thai Hua School at Krabi Road, Phuket, is the oldest Chinese school in Thailand, founded in 1911. Built in 1934, it is a splendid example of European-Sino-Thai architecture of the 1930s, when Phuket architecture began to depart from the Straits Settlements style. It was used as an exhibition space to promote Phuket’s artists and cultural learning center. Now it opens daily (except Wednesday) from 9.00a.m. - 7.00p.m.
